Paris 2024
How does qualification work?
The Olympic Sailing Competition at Paris 2024 will feature 10 Events with a total Athlete quota of 330.
Qualification is achieved through a series of selected world and continental regattas, with a Last Chance Regatta offering a third and final opportunity for qualification.
As is customary, the host nation was eligible for direct entry in each Event, the IOC’s Tripartite Commission allocated Universality Places and for the first time, World Sailing Emerging Nations had an additional pathway to qualify for the Olympic Sailing Competition.
More than 250 boats will feature on the start lines of the Paris 2024 Olympic Sailing Competition from 65 National Olympic Committees.
